Prenatal and Birth Services
Birth and Family Midwifery offers out-of-hospital birth services for the Southwest Washington region. The midwifery model of care places the mom at the center, allowing her to be in control of her birthing choices. Birth and Family Midwifery supports the family in their journey, starting from early pregnancy through delivery and beyond! Prenatal appointments begin in the first trimester with monthly appointments until 32 weeks. Visits are 30 minutes or more to allow plenty of time for a holistic approach to prenatal care. The midwife sees mom every 2 weeks from 32-36 weeks, and then weekly until baby is born. Women are supported in their choices to include water birth, children at birth, and gentle birthing. Moms at Birth and Family Midwifery receive nutrition counseling, postnatal care, breastfeeding support and more. |

Pediatric & Adult Women's Health Services
The same holistic, gentle care extends into all aspects of care, including well child visits (age 0-18), adult primary care and wellness, and women's health services. We offer well child and sick child visits with comprehensive and individualized care. Our providers are trained in all aspects of family planning including fertility counseling, Natural Family Planning, and traditional birth control methods. We are passionate about providing care for women through the lifespan by sensitively addressing the changing body from puberty through the golden years. Our providers promote healthy body self-care, assist with urinary and prolapse concerns, address and treat chronic conditions, perform minor surgical procedures, and practice interactive listening.
