Kathleen Wirtz is a Certified Nurse Midwife and Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. A Cowlitz County native, Kathleen has always had a passion for childbirth. She raised five children at her home in Kelso, WA, and has eleven grandchildren. Over the years, Kathleen has been a La Leche League Leader, a doula, a birth assistant at a free standing birth center, and a Midwife delivering babies at Legacy Salmon Creek Hospital in Vancouver, WA. She loves her job, especially catching babies and supporting young families with newborn care and breastfeeding support. She is thrilled to offer family care, women's health care and out-of-hospital birth in Southwest WA.

Adreia Jessop is a Certified Nurse Midwife and Doctor of Nursing Practice. Adreia spent 16 years working as an RN in labor and delivery. During that time, her love for supporting families post partum continued to grow. She is an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and uses those skills to help moms and babies through their postpartum journey.
Adreia has worked for Birth and Family Midwifery previously as a birth assistant and lactation consultant. She joined the practice as a care provider in June 2018 - seeing clients in the office for prenatal care, women's health, and lactation support, as well as attending births. Mother of five, Adreia lives in Vancouver, WA. |
Caroline Carwood is a licensed and board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She began her nursing career in Boston, MA where she worked for 10 years as an emergency room nurse. She obtained her MSN at Simmons University in 2017 and has been working in primary care in both OR and WA since then.
As a provider, Caroline likes to spend time getting to know her patients and their families so that she can be an integral part of their current and future health care. She believes in empowering patients to take control of their own health while helping them manage their acute and chronic conditions through education, collaboration, and comprehensive follow up. She also believes in meeting patients where they are in the moment and providing safe and nonjudgmental medical care and support. She has a strong interest in combining the conventional, integrative, and holistic approaches to primary care. In her free time Caroline enjoys hiking, archery, yoga, and reading. She lives in Portland, OR. |
